Focus On: Coloring Chicks and Preserving Embryos

FeatherSite Colored Chicks

A good project to begin on Day 11 involves coloring the chicks within the egg with food coloring. The results are rather interesting, as the picture to the right attests. Today's focus will be on how to artifically color the chicks, and how to preserve embryos for further study. These activities come from the resource paper From Egg To Chick
