Chickscope Scratchings:
Welcome to our Chicken Scratchings
What are Chicken Scratchings? They are the observations of our
teachers and student scientists at the various institutes
associated with this project. Scratchings forums are designed
to be interactive and follow a newsgroup-like
format. Participants, also known as "members", add messages to
the various Scratchings forums, giving their co-researchers and
opportunity to discuss their discoveries.
Anybody can read a Scratchings forum, but only members of the
"Illinois Chickscope '98" (ILCS) project can post directly to
the forum. Eventually the
forums will be opened for posting to the rest of the world.
Available Forums
- The
ILCS Chicken Scratchings
- The main scratchings site for the
ILCS participants. Feel free to share
your findings, your successes and
failures here! Also, if you have a
question that you feel should be shared
among your peers, this is a good place
to do it.
- The
Chickscope Development Forum
- The development forum is designed as
another mechanism for you to post
questions, bug reports, and complaints
about the Chickscope website. Particularly
welcomed are comments concerning dead
hyperlinks, incorrect navigation buttons,
spelling errors and typos, and problems
with the service in general. If you have a
question about embryology or some other
concept of scientific nature, we suggest
using the ILCS Chicken Scratchings
above.
- The
Chicken Scratchings Test Forum
- If you have never used Scratchings
before here is where you should
start. This is an unmoderated,
free-for-all forum. You can post
anything you want in this forum, just to
get a feel for how it all works.
